Welcome to the Blog Tour for Wasted by Jerusha Agen, hosted by JustRead Publicity Tours!
About Wasted

She always follows the rules. But what are the rules for murder?
Victoria Weston encounters tough things as a home health physical therapist, but this is a first—a dead body. The police call the patient’s death accidental. Victoria knows that can’t be true. Her efforts to convince the police they’re dealing with a murder get her labeled a troublemaker by all but one man—the troubler of her youth.
When Cillian Doherty returns to right the wrongs of the past, he finds his high school flame in a different kind of danger than he expected. As a social worker, he’s in the perfect position to corroborate her cry of murder or give her what she wanted—to handle her problems without his help.
But someone wants to silence Victoria. When lies escalate to violence and threaten more lives, the Weston siblings join the battle to save their sister.

An Interview With Jerusha Agen
What is something interesting readers would enjoy learning about you?
Before becoming a professional novelist, I was a filmmaker. I’ve always loved films since I was a child, so I was naturally drawn to the film industry. I specialized in screenwriting, but also did some directing, producing, script supervising, casting, and more.
What makes up your ideal reading environment?
Back when I used to have more time, my favorite setting for reading was stretched out on a sofa with a blanket, hot chocolate, and some of my favorite classical music playing in the background. Now, I’m doing well if I can squeeze in some reading while I’m standing by the sink, brushing my teeth!
What was your favorite scene to write in this story? And why?
My favorite scene to write was the epilogue. Why? Because it was the last scene in the book, which meant the book was finished! ?
What unique research was required to write this story?
I had to learn about motorcycles and how to sabotage them! Thankfully, I have an uncle who’s a life-long motorcyclist, and he was able to give me the technical details. He had me hooked when he told me about the “death wobble.” You’ll have to read Wasted to find out what that is (if you don’t know) and how it fits into the story.
What encouragement do you hope readers will take away from your story?
I hope readers will be encouraged to be bold in standing against evil and declaring the truth, even when it’s unpopular or when they might be accused of being unkind. Sharing God’s truth is always the most loving choice and the only way to bring about lasting peace.

I found the interview very interesting, and I hope that somehow time opens up in Jerusha’s schedule so she has more time to read. There have been a few times when I snuck in a few paragraphs of reading while brushing my teeth.
