This past week, I returned to work after my maternity leave. It’s a juggling act, as all moms know, but I love my job and I’m excited to be back at it. With being a working mom fresh on my plate, I thought I’d write down a few thoughts on the subject.

5 Writing Tips for Teens

Thoughts on Writing, Writing Resources, Writing Spot

Getting a teenager to read can be as monumental a task as climbing a mountain. Conversely, for those teens who enjoy reading, getting them to put down their book can be an equally challenging task.

Whether a teen enjoys reading or not, writing can be another story. Some love putting words on paper, but put so many down that it is difficult to wade through them all. Conversations with Wisconsin Artists Interview

The Vanishing Kidnapper, Thoughts on Writing, Updates, Writing Spot

Last week, I was interviewed by Rex Owens during Conversations with Wisconsin Artists on Sun Prairie’s KSUN 103.5 The hour long program airs twice a month and features people with a variety of artistic expertise.

During my interview, I spoke about what inspired me to write my fist novel, The Vanishing Kidnapper, as well as my experience with Intercultural Communication. I also shared about my work coaching students and teens on how to improve their writing.

It was a great experience and a fun conversation. If you missed it, you can find the recording here.

Thank you, again, to Rex and the KSUN studio for having me.
