Today’s book review features
Cold Pursuit by Nancy Mehl.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s theme is the top ten books of 2020. Of the over 100 books I read, it was a challenge to narrow it down to just 10 (plus a bonus novella collection), but here it goes… the award for my favorite books of the year.
Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Today’s theme is the top ten books I hope Santa brings me for Christmas. Some I’ve read many times, but don’t yet own. Others I’m eager to read for the first time. All are back list books of favorite authors that I’m slowly collecting for my personal library.
Welcome to First Line Friday! Today we’re looking at Soul Raging by Ronie Kendig.
Soul Raging is the third and final book in Ronie Kendig‘s The Book of the Wars trilogy. We meet Leif Metcalfe in Ronie Kendig’s previous series, The Tox Files, and in The Book of the Wars, we watch him lead his own team to save the world from disaster. Soul Raging picks up where the previous book, Kings Falling leaves off.
Dangerous Deceptions is a collection of short Christian Suspense novels by eight different authors. The stories range from thriller to romantic suspense.
Storm Rising is the first book in Ronie Kendig’s latest series, The Book of the Wars. Leif Metcalfe, who first appeared in The Tox Files, now leads his own team as they track down the apocalyptic artifact The Book of the Wars.
Splintered Silence is the first book in Susan Furlong’s Bone Gap Travellers Mystery Series. It tells the story of Brynn Callahan, an ex-Marine who returns home with her three-legged cadaver dog after their medical discharge. But home is a troubled place, even more so after Wilco, her dog, discovers the remains of a murder victim.
Dead Ringer is the first book in Susan Sleeman’s latest series, Truth Seekers, which centers around the scientists at the Portland-based Veritas Center. Dead Ringer tells the story of Emory Steele and how she must work with an out-of-town sheriff to track down a missing woman before kidnapping turns into murder.
When I had the opportunity to meet Hank Phillippi Ryan during a book signing, I jumped at the chance. I hadn’t read one of her books yet, but as a writer, I enjoy hearing from other successful writers. She was delightful to listen to and I had to read one of her books. I chose The Other Woman, first in her Jane Ryland series.
