Never Let Go, by Elizabeth Goddard, is the first book in her Uncommon Justice series. I’ve read Elizabeth Goddard’s books before, but not her full length novels. I was impressed that Never Let Go managed to have the same pacing and feel of her shorter books.
Dead Heat, the fourth book in Susan Sleeman‘s Truth Seekers series highlights Nick Thorn, Director of Cyber Crimes at the Veritas Center. He might be my favorite of the Veritas partners, so I’ve been looking forward to hearing his story.
Have you ever stayed up late to finish a book? As a mom of young children, I can’t do that as much any more. However, my newborn happened to have a fussy night just as I was starting The Runaway Bride by Jody Hedlund. Perfect timing! He needed extra snuggles and I needed a book to read well into the night.
