Welcome to First Line Friday! Today we’re looking at The Thief of Blackfriars Lane by Michelle Griep.
The Thief of Blackfriars Lane by Michelle Griep is a fun, lighthearted caper set in 1885 City of London. Jackson Forge is a green recruit, overzealous for his first day as a constable. Kit Turner is a female Robin Hood whose crew operates on Blackfriars Lane.

A Joyful Christmas is a collection of six historical Christmas novellas written by Cynthia Hickey, Liz Johnson, Vickie McDonough, Liz Tolsma, Carrie Turansky, and Erica Vetsch.
Love’s Pure Light is a delightful Christmas Novella Collection of four stories by Susanne Dietze, Shannon McNear, Deborah Raney, and Janine Rosche. It follows a nativity set as it is passed down from generation to generation and what I loved most was how each generation’s love story added a piece to it.
Courting Calamity is a collection of four historical novellas about four women who ran into a whole lot of trouble. Amanda Barratt, Gabrielle Meyer, Jennifer Uhlarik, and Kathleen Y’Barbo take us back in time to vary different scenarios, but in each, the female was (in) some sort of trouble.
