About the Book

Libby has been given a powerful gift: to live one life in 1774 Colonial Williamsburg and the other in 1914 Gilded Age New York City. When she falls asleep in one life, she wakes up in the other without any time passing. On her twenty-first birthday, Libby must choose one path and forfeit the other–but how can she possibly decide when she has so much to lose?

When the Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer is book one in the Timeless series from Bethany House Publishers.

This story has such a unique concept. The main character is a time-crosser, she lives in two different historical time periods and each day wakes up in one or the other. On her twenty-first birthday, she has to choose which life to stay in and which to leave behind.

The characters in this story are incredible! I loved them, and my heart hurt for them as they navigated such difficult circumstances (including trigger warning situations). There is so much emotion. The romance is amazing…Henry is wonderful. And the way the author brought history to life is outstanding.

If you love historical fiction, then definitely give this story a read. And if you like time travel type stories, you’ll love this one, too. I’m excited to read book two!
