Top Ten Tuesday | Most Anticipated Books: January to June 2023

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!

Today’s list features Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2023

It’s the beginning of a new year and I’m excited about all the books I get to read over the next few months! This list is only ten of the books I can’t wait to read. Of course there are many more. My preferred trade-length Christian fiction genres to read are historical romance and romantic suspense, and that’s shown in my choice of books. However, I do love branching out and trying a new or different genre/author. Who knows, that book might appear on one a favorites list. It happened in 2022!

Notably absent from my list are the Love Inspired and Love Inspired Suspense books I enjoy so much, as well as titles by indie/hybrid authors I follow. These books often have less pre-order lead time than other books so they are more likely to appear in my seasonal Most Anticipated Books lists or a favorites list.

This year, I’m hoping to slow down my reading to savor the books more and give myself more time to write, but with so many good books releasing, it may be a futile wish. I love to read and reading is the way I decompress from my day. And I rarely skip a day without reading at least a chapter! What’s your reason for reading?

In full disclosure, I’ve received or will receive complimentary copies of many of these. Opinions are my own. Also, as an Amazon Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Without further ado, here are my ten anticipated reads that release between January and June of this year. Are any of these books on your list to read this year? Do you have a favorite book you are exceptionally excited about reading? Tell us in the comments!

When it comes to most anticipated books, I have to include my upcoming historical romance because I cannot wait for it to release. I’m excited for David and Adaleigh’s story to finally be in reader’s hands—it’s been a long time of waiting! Not to mention, it kicks off a whole new series set in 1930s Wisconsin.
