The Cowgirl’s Redemption is book one in Mindy Obenhaus’s Hope Crossing series from Love Inspired.

Gloriana has returned home in hopes of showing her family, and the town, that she has changed. Her reputation has gone before her, making a mountain to climb. Justin only knows what he’s heard about her, none of which is good. At first, I wondered how they would find romance with so much stacked against them.

Enemies-to-lovers is a difficult trope to write, I think. Because if two people hate each other, how will love flourish? The author does a masterful job of slowly weaving hearts. There is no sudden change. No easy way out. But there is a twist at the end!

I loved the characters in this book and am excited to continue the series. In fact, I review Book Two, A Christmas Bargain, next Thursday.
