Targeted is a collection of three romantic suspense novellas by authors Lynette Eason, Lynn H. Blackburn, and Natalie Walters.
On the Run by Lynette Eason is intense, with page-turning action. The characters continued to run into trouble at every turn. I haven’t read many of author’s books, but meeting the other characters, who I assume were in past series, made me want to do so.
Deadly Objective by Lynn H. Blackburn is connected to her Defend and Protect series. I have been enjoying this sereis, so what a delight to read Gil’s sister’s story. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The main characters made a great pair, and the Secret Service Agent’s protectee was a perfect addition to the story.
Caught in the Crosshairs by Natalie Walters revisits her Harbored Secrets series. I liked Pecca Gallegos’s sister in Silent Shadows, so it was fun to see Claudia get a story, too. With plenty of twists and turns, you’ll be wrapped up in the world of espionage and secret agents.
Overall, this was a wonderful book with three great novellas. If you’ve read any of the three series, I definitely recommend revisiting your favorite characters. If you haven’t, this is a perfect chance to sample the three different author’s writing. Perhaps you’ll find a new favorite author.
