DANIELLE’S REVIEW
I received a complimentary copy of this book from JustRead Tours. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with FTC guidelines.
Covert Danger is part of Jerusha Agen’s Guardians Unleashed romantic suspense series surrounding the Phoenix K-9 Security and Rescue Specialists.
I love K-9 stories and this series has showcased some awesome K9s. In this one, we see Raska, the German Shepherd, in action as both a protection dog and a search and rescue dog. And, we see Amalia’s Newfoundland in action, too. That was my favorite part.
The humans in the story were great too. I especially liked Amalia. The way the author showed her identity struggles with her former name and current hidden identity name added such depth to the story. I wanted to shake Michael at times–his quest for the the truth was going to get Amalia in trouble! But I loved how he sought to remind Amalia who she truly was. And all of that made the ending so sweet.
If you love K-9 romantic suspense stories, then definitely add this book (and series) to your list. I can’t wait to learn more about the rest of the Phoenix K-9 team.
