Texas Buried Secrets by Virginia Vaughan is the sixth and final book in her Cowboy Lawmen Love Inspired Suspense series.

Cecile Richardson is the best investigative deputy in the area, so she is lead on a case involving re-buried bones. Work is complicated, though, because of the romantic feelings arching between her and her boss, Sheriff Josh Avery.

I haven’t read the previous books in the series and from what I gather, we would understand their history a bit better since the Avery family are the Cowboy Lawmen the series is about. However, I still enjoyed the story! Trouble kept after Cecile and it never gave away the bad guy until the very end.

If you enjoy romantic suspense, this is a great choice!
