Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!
Today’s list features romantic suspense from 2021.
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Halloween. What better genre is there to read at Halloween than romantic suspense? Perhaps thrillers or horror, but while I love suspense, I lean toward the tamer side.
This year I’ve read some wonderful romantic suspense. I listed my top ten here, but I couldn’t include all my favorites, especially since I limited myself to one book per author and several authors put out two or more books this year.
The first book on my list is the only historical romance I included, but with its Gothic feel, I thought it a perfect addition. The second book is a spit-time novel that is a perfect Halloween read. And the last book is the only one on the list I haven’t read yet, but I’m so excited for it to release next month that I couldn’t help but include it on my list, too.
Do you have a favorite romantic suspense novel that released this year?

I don’t read romance, but I love the husky dogs on that book cover! One of my goals in life is to someday own a husky. And a really good vacuum to deal with all the dog hair.
Aren’t they adorable? I love dog stories.
Nice list! I don’t read scary books, but I do enjoy romantic suspense so I’ll have to look into these!
Me too 🙂 I hope you’ll find one or more you’ll enjoy!
Oooh, the top title looks really intriguing. I’ll have to check it out.
I hope you’ll enjoy it!
These look really good—especially The Chase!

Thanks for this great list, Danielle! Alaskan Rescue and Snowstorm Sabotage sound especially interesting!
You’re welcome! I enjoyed those ones, too!
Great list! I have read most of these 🙂 I went with Morbid titles on my TBR list. https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/10/top-ten-tuesday-morbid-titles-on-tbr.html
Thanks! Lots of good ones this year! 🙂
I have read all but the LIS and Susan Sleeman’s book ( I need to remedy that) and Lights Out just arrived yesterday in my mailbox!
All were excellent books. I’m reading Lost in Darkness by Michelle Griep. Very gothic vibe and a historical book!
Woohoo! I’m reading Lights Out right now and it’s so good! I have Michelle’s book on my tbr list and am looking forward to it!
On the Cliffs of Foxgrove Manor does sound good!
