Night Watch is the fifth book in Susan Sleeman’s Nighthawk Security series and the story of the fifth and youngest Byrd brother, Erik. I’ll be sad when this series ends. I’ve loved reading about the Bryd brothers and their parents—who we didn’t see quite as much of this time though we so a lot of the brothers, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
In true Susan Sleeman fashion, Night Watch is a story full of twists and turns. Honestly, it left me with no idea from which corner to expect the danger and even though I knew that more danger was coming, it wasn’t until the bad guy’s name was revealed that I had any idea who the bad guy could be.
I can’t say enough how enjoyable this series has been. From the detail to the camaraderie to the glimpses of past characters. Even though there is one more book left in the series, Night Watch had a wrapping up kind of feel. I can’t wait for the last book, and then the new series Susan Sleeman has planned.
