Danielle’s Review

Taken in the Night by Elizabeth Goddard continues the Love Inspired Suspense miniseries Mount Shasta Secrets. Danielle Collins and her little girl Lucy are in danger and Reece Bradley, Danielle’s ex-boyfriend, has to save them.

I’ve been looking forward to this story for two reasons. First, the main character’s name is Danielle! I never come across main characters who share my name and if I do, they’re nosy, annoying siblings. And, two, something about Reece, who has appeared has appeared in the previous books, made me want to read his story.

Add in an adorable little girl who completely steels the reader’s heart as fast as she does Reece’s, and Taken in the Night lived up to my expectations and more. It was a fascinating mystery that I won’t spoil for you since I struggled to figure out how they were going to get out of the situation. Suffice it to say, things exploded multiple times.

I’m a fan of Elizabeth Goddard’s books and this was a fun addition to her Love Inspired Suspense collection. A special congratulations to her on this being her 30th Love Inspired book! Here’s to many more.
