  1. I’m sharing the first line of chapter 19 of The Love Note by Joanna Politano:
If I should happen to fall in love, the outcome of such a plight depends, like any big fall, on who is there to catch me.

  2. Happy Friday! I’m sharing the first line from The Lady and the Highwayman by Sarah M. Eden over on my blog today. I’m enjoying it very much. Here’s a line from the chapter I’m currently on:
“Elizabeth decided to forebear late-night visitors.”
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂❤📚

  3. That package would make me nervous! I’m currently reading the second novella in The Kissing Tree which is by Karen Witemeyer. The first line of that novella is “Illogical business proposals made Barnabas Ackerly’s skin itch, but this one irritated like a hundred mosquito bites treated with a poison ivy poultice.”
