Italian Iced is the gripping conclusion to Kylie Logan’s Ethnic Eats cozy mystery series. Laurel Inwood must face her past when her ex-boss is found dead in her restaurant’s freezer and make a decision on her future when her boyfriend asks her to marry him.
Laurel is not the only one who harbors ill-will toward Hollywood actress Meghan Cohan. However, getting fired and moving to Hubbard, Ohio to help her Aunt Sophie at Terminal at the Tracks introduced her to a collection of individuals that welcomed her as family. Including the handsome Declan Fury.
With a plethora of suspects descending on Hubbard, Laurel is determined to clear her name and find the murderer. She also wants to know why Meghan came to down in the first place. What did she want from Laurel? Why go through an elaborate rouse to track her down? Is that what got her killed?
I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Ethnic Eats series and Italian Iced was a fantastic ending. With unique characters and the variety of European cultures represented, it’s makes for an entertaining read. The action keeps the pages turning as does the hope that Laurel and Declan get to live happily ever after.
