Candy Apple Blessings is a favorite book in our house, so when I saw that illustrator Maddie Frost had come out with a new book, I jumped at the chance to review it. Just like Candy Apple Blessings explores the wonders of fall, Jelly Bean Blessings highlights the joys of springtime.

Jelly Bean Blessings employs snappy rhymes to show all the blessings of spring. From jumping in puddles, to flying a kite, the season has many fun activities for little readers to enjoy. Even spring cleaning!

The illustrations are just as adorable as the fall version. In Jelly Bean Blessings, a crocodile, fox, and pig enjoy all the spring adventures together. Tulips are a-plenty and my son’s personal favorite, bees, appear on several pages.

Jelly Bean Blessings is an excellent addition to your child’s reading repertoire. Not only is it fun to read with colorful pictures and rhyming poetry, it gives kids a taste of the blessings of springtime.
