It may not be popular, but I love it when the weather turns cold. I love wearing fuzzy sweaters, bundling in cozy blankets, and drinking hot chocolate. So when I had a chance to review a book all about winter chilliness, I had to investigate. Cozy, Snowy Cuddles wonderfully captures that cozy winter feeling in a touch-and-feel board book for little readers.
With lilting poetry, Cozy, Snowy Cuddles talks about how great it is to snuggle up during the cold weather. Hugs, snuggles, cuddles, and kisses, little people will learn that cold weather can bring us closer to those we love.
The pictures are my favorite part of the book. I love how they feature a different polar animal baby and their mama or daddy on each page. What better way to learn about arctic animals by having them teach Little Bear that hugs and cuddles are a great way to keep warm?
From glittery snow to smooth narwhal skin to furry the moose, each picture has a different color and texture for little fingers to experience. My son especially loves the polar bear and can’t wait to get to the last page to feel it’s furry belly.
I highly recommend Cosy, Snowy Cuddles. The polar animals, who live their whole life in the cold, are the perfect choice to share with young readers why winter is a great time of year. And, as it gets chillier outside, Cozy, Snowy Cuddles is a great book to read while snuggled up with the littles in your life.
