Their plan succeeds, or so they think, until Boomer goes away with the family on vacation. The bully cats meet Finnigan and Max and Leroy are sure this is the end. But when Leroy nearly falls into the bully cats’ clutches, Max and Leroy find they have a new hero to love.

The story of Finnigan the Circus Cat will keep a young reader reading. Max is the storyteller and he has a way with words. The descriptions are lovely and the images roll out of the imagination. Above all, it’s a fun book about cute animals. What’s better than that?

Finnigan the Circus Cat is the first in the Finnigan series. Check out Mary’s website for more information.
